“Chasing Rabbits”

Take the opportunity to have a small piece of my journey with this very limited edition set of prints. These are hand embellished, numbered and signed making each one unique in its own way. I will NOT be printing any more of this wall so once these are gone that's it. These high quality 12"x16" prints are printed on Crane Ultrasmooth Fine Art 285 gsm 100% Cotton 100% Archival paper and were printed locally here in Denver.

Snow hares have always had a special spot in my heart so I absolutely loved painting them but beyond that rabbits have a significant place in mythology dating back to the Romans and beyond. Native cultures all over the world have similar stories of the hares relation to the moon. The rabbit as well as the hare have been associated with moon deities and may signify rebirth or resurrection. Beyond that rabbits are a symbol of prosperity and good fortune. Fables featuring them ran through my childhood such as the cautionary tale of the tortoise and the hare. These lovable little beacons have permeated almost every facet of culture in some fashion. This being the year of the rabbit I felt it only fitting to pay some homage to these magical little creatures.. 🐇
